In short: ScoreMIX keeps only what it needs to run your account and your library. Your songs are private to you. Nothing is sold, and there's no advertising or tracking.

Who is responsible

ScoreMIX is made and run by Adrian, in Romania. For anything about your data, write to hello@getscoremix.com.

What ScoreMIX keeps, and why

• The waiting list: your email address, when you signed up and confirmed, and your consent. It's used only to tell you when ScoreMIX opens, plus occasional news about it. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Your account: your email address, your password (stored only in a scrambled, one-way form, so nobody can read it), your plan, and when the account was created. These are needed to provide the service you signed up for (article 6(1)(b)).
• Your library: the songs, setlists, notes and drawings, credit lines and files you add. ScoreMIX stores them so you can use them, and does nothing else with them: they're never published, shared or used to train anything. A setlist is only visible to someone else if you share its link.
• Your subscription: whether you have Pro, until when, and the reference numbers of your payments. The payment itself (card details, billing address) is handled by Stripe's checkout service, Link, and ScoreMIX never sees your card. ScoreMIX keeps the records tax law requires, for as long as it requires them (article 6(1)(c)).
• Emails about your account: the email check when you sign up, password resets, and notices about your subscription. They're part of the service.
• Security: the server logs each request (address, time, page) to keep the service working and safe, and keeps those logs for 30 days. The sign-up page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. The legal basis is a legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (article 6(1)(f)).

On your device

The app sets one cookie, which keeps you logged in; it's needed for the app to work. It also saves a few settings on your device (text size in stage mode, capo per song, sort order) and, if you choose "Keep offline", copies of those sets so they open without internet. You can clear them in Settings → Offline or in your browser.

This website sets no cookies. To count visits, it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you to other sites.

Who helps run it

• A hosting company in the EU runs the server where your account and library are stored.
• Cloudflare serves this website, protects the sign-up page (Turnstile), counts visits and forwards emails sent to hello@getscoremix.com.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) keeps the waiting list and sends ScoreMIX's emails, inside the EU.
• Stripe and its checkout service Link sell Pro subscriptions as the merchant of record. For the payment they decide how your data is used, under Link's privacy policy.
• Nightly backups are kept on the server and copied to a private storage space, also in the EU.

Cloudflare and Stripe are US companies. Where your data leaves the EU, they protect it with the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long it's kept

• Your account and library: until you delete your account (Settings → Account). A song you move to the Trash is deleted for good after 30 days.
• After you delete your account, everything is removed from the server at once, and from the backups as they age out, within 12 months at most.
• The waiting list: until you unsubscribe, or until ScoreMIX opens and you decide whether to try it.
• Payment and tax records: as long as Romanian tax law requires.

Your rights

You can download your whole library at any time (Settings → Download my library). You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it's used, by writing to hello@getscoremix.com. Every email from the waiting list has an unsubscribe link. If you think your data has been handled wrongly, you can complain to your country's data protection authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP).

Children

ScoreMIX is for people aged 16 and over.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, account holders get an email before the change takes effect.
